Ground / freestanding signs

Freestanding signs may not exceed 20 feet in height or 100 square feet in area, and must be set back at least 10 feet from any property line. Monument-style bases are required in commercial districts fronting a public right-of-way.

Wall signs

Wall signage is limited to 15% of the façade area facing the primary street frontage. Internally or externally illuminated signs are permitted; exposed neon tubing is prohibited citywide.

Permits & temporary signage

A sign permit from the Building Department is required before installation. Temporary banners and window signs are allowed for up to 30 days, twice per calendar year, without a full permit.
