Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Your right under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.

FreeCodeChecks does not sell your personal information for money. However, because we use third-party advertising cookies (Google AdSense / DoubleClick) to show personalized ads, that activity may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. This page lets you opt out.

Opt out of personalized ads

Use the button below to record your “Do Not Sell or Share” preference. We will also open your cookie preferences (if available) so you can switch off advertising cookies on this device.

Note: ad-cookie preferences are stored per browser and per device. If you use multiple browsers or devices, repeat this on each one. Clearing your cookies may reset this preference.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a Do Not Sell request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. Send agent requests to privacy@freecodechecks.com.
